I am trained in ACT therapy. ACT is an experiential therapy that is not traditional talk therapy. I have training in CBT, Trauma Focused CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and EMDR. I like to use Mindfulness as a bases for our sessions and build on self-compassion exercises to begin healing. My specialties are counseling those with OCD, Depression. Anxiety, and Trauma.
Making that first step to come to therapy can be difficult, but I will be with you each step of the way. I am a genuine listener. I am here for you. I will hold space for the experiences and life events you would like to share. I will give suggestions and use my specific training to point out how to use coping skills to overcome the negative self-talk.
